Acne - Home Treatment















1. Wash your face twice a day. Washing your face once in the morning and once at night is a good routine.
  • Wash your face or any problem areas with warm water and a mild cleanser.

2.  Use a moisturizer on your face to keep your skin hydrated. Choose a non-comedogenic (oil free)  moisturizer.

3. Avoid touching your face

4. Never pick or squeeze your pimples because it will just result to infection and scarring.

5. Make sure your hair is always clean and keep them away from your face. 

6. You can use over the counter medicated acne products like creams, gels ,soaps that contain:
  • Benzoyl peroxide.  It is a keratolytic agent with antibacterial actions. It appears to be effective because of its antibacterial, peeling (keratolytic), and drying actions.
  • Salicylic acid. Helps unclog pores

7. Use sunscreen. To protect your skin from the sun and other sources of UV light.
